lydia the idiot
i ran into Elizabeth today she seemed rather frantic about something but i did not know what until she told me. apparently her sister Lydia ran away with Wickham. for doing this i think that she is incredebly stupid and it shows that she is young and dumb. with this action she could ruin the reputation of all her family. i do hope that Elizabeth succeeds in finding her and stopping this wedding.

I completely agree that this action of Lydia's could ruin my family's reputation, and I wish my father would not have let her go to Brighton in the first place. I told him that it was not a good idea, for I knew she would cause trouble one way or another, but he did not consider my arguments whatsoever. I understand that Lydia needs to learn how to be independent in the world and cannot rely on my parents to make her decisions for her forever, but allowing her to go was not the way to teach her. I can only hope that she returns home or that my father finds her because I know the true Wickham and how devious he can be.
ReplyDeleteOh, yes! This awful action must be stopped. Wickham cannot be trusted whatsoever. We have a low reputation as a family monetarily wise and cannot afford this blow. She must be found.
